Create a Group in Groupmail
Welcome to Groupmail! Creating your first group is an exciting step toward organizing your contacts and launching your email campaigns. Think of groups as customizable contact lists that help you send the right message to the right people.
In this guide, you'll learn how to create and set up a group from scratch. By the end, you'll be ready to add contacts and start building your email campaigns.
Step 1: Navigate to Manage Groups
Your journey starts in the left navigation menu. This is where you'll manage all your groups and contacts.

Click on Manage Groups in the left menu to access your groups dashboard.

Groups are how you segment your audience. You might create separate groups for customers, leads, newsletter subscribers, or any other way you want to organize your contacts.
Step 2: Create a New Group
Now let's create your group!
Click the + New Group button to open the group creation form.
Step 3: Configure Your Group Settings
Time to add the details that will help you identify and manage this group. The group creation form includes several important fields.

Enter your group information
Name: Give your group a clear, descriptive name that helps you quickly identify it. This name is private to you and your team—your contacts won't see it. Examples: "Newsletter Subscribers," "VIP Customers," or "Product Launch List."

Click the "Groups" menu item at the top of the screen and then click "+ New Group". 2. Enter Group Details Name: This is the name of your group and is private to you. Description: Enter a description of your group to help you recognise the group origin. Click "Save". That's it, you just created your new Groupmail group. You are now ready to start adding your contacts.
